How to use this tool
Add images, put them in order with the up and down arrows and click Create & Download PDF. Each image becomes one page, in the order shown.
Page size: why a phone photo makes a huge page
Each page is exactly as many points as the image has pixels, and a point is 1/72 of an inch. A 4000 × 3000 photo therefore becomes a page about 141 × 106 cm (55.6 × 41.7 inches). On screen this doesn't matter, because viewers zoom to fit. When printing, choose Fit or Shrink oversized pages in the print dialog; at actual size, only a corner of the photo would print.

Phones often save a portrait photo as landscape pixels plus a note saying "turn this 90°". Your gallery follows the note, but a PDF shows the raw pixels, which is how photos end up sideways in a PDF. This tool reads the note and turns the page to match what you see, without re-compressing the photo. JPG and PNG files are placed in the PDF exactly as they are; other formats, such as WebP, are converted to PNG first, which can make them several times larger.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can every page be A4?
Not in this tool; each page takes the size of its image. If a portal insists on A4 pages, print the PDF to a new PDF with the paper size set to A4 and "Fit" selected, which scales every page onto A4 paper.
Why is the PDF bigger than the images I added?
JPG and PNG files are embedded byte for byte, so each one adds roughly its own size. Any other format, such as WebP, GIF or BMP, is redrawn and embedded as a lossless PNG, which is often several times larger than a compressed WebP. If the size matters, convert those images to JPG with the Image Format Converter before adding them. Animated GIFs contribute only their first frame.
An upload form says my PDF is too large. What can I shrink?
The photos, which the PDF carries unchanged. Make them smaller first with the Image Resizer or Image Compressor: in this site's tests, an 1800 × 1200 photo of 759 KB came down to 107 KB when resized to 1200 × 800.
