Calculate how much paint you need for a room, in liters and cans, with a cost estimate.
How to use this calculator
Enter your room's Length, Width, and Height in meters to calculate total wall area. It then subtracts your Number of Doors and Number of Windows, deducting an average size for each (about 1.8 m² per door, 1.2 m² per window) to get the actual paintable area. Set how many Coats you plan to apply, your paint's Coverage rate (check the tin — usually 8–12 m² per liter), your Can Size, and the Price per Liter to get the liters and cans needed, plus an estimated total cost.
