Break-Even Point Calculator
Find out how many units you need to sell — and at what revenue — to cover your costs.
How to use this calculator
Enter your total fixed costs (expenses that stay the same regardless of how much you sell, like rent or salaries), the variable cost to produce or deliver a single unit, and the price you sell each unit for. The calculator divides fixed costs by the contribution margin (selling price minus variable cost) to find your break-even point — the number of units you must sell before you start making a profit. Use it when pricing a new product or deciding whether a price change is worth it.
