How to use this tool
Fill in your name and contact details, a short summary, each job and qualification, and your skills, then click Download PDF. The file is named after you, for example Asha_Rao.pdf. Nothing is saved, so download before closing the tab.
What the PDF looks like
An A4 page in Helvetica: your name at 20 point, email and phone on one line under it, then Summary, Experience, Education and Skills in that order, each with a 12-point heading. Each job is a bold line, "Title — Company", with the description wrapped beneath it. Content that doesn't fit continues on a second page. The text is real text, not a picture, so it can be selected, searched and read by applicant tracking systems.
Characters the PDF can't print
The PDF uses the font built into every PDF reader, which covers English and Western European letters (é, ü, ñ) but not the rupee sign, Indian scripts or emoji. ₹ is written as Rs., so "₹12,00,000" prints as "Rs. 12,00,000". Anything else the font lacks is left out, and the page lists what was dropped under the download button, so a name typed in Devanagari needs an English spelling as well. Without this, a single such character used to turn its whole line into spaced-out gibberish.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this resume actually ATS-friendly?
The PDF is real, selectable text in one full-width column under plain section headings, with no tables or images, so a parser can read it top to bottom. You can check this yourself: open the download, select all and paste it into a text editor, and what you see is roughly what an applicant tracking system extracts. There's no single ATS standard, though, so no tool can promise how a particular employer's system will score a file.
Can I add a photo, links or a second column?
No. The layout is deliberately a single column of text with no photo, and the email address isn't a clickable link. For a design-heavy CV, use a word processor; for applications that go through an online portal, the plain version is the safer one to upload.
How long should a resume be?
If you have little work experience to list, aim for one page: cutting to fit makes you keep your strongest points instead of listing everything. This tool flows onto a second page automatically when the content runs long, so download it and look at where the break falls before deciding what to trim.
Is my resume data saved or uploaded anywhere?
No. Nothing is saved between visits and nothing is sent to a server — the PDF is generated entirely in your browser from what you type, then downloaded directly. Refreshing the page clears whatever you've entered, so download your PDF (or keep the tab open) before navigating away.
